The Sacrament of Marriage or Matrimony

The Sacrament of Marriage is a sacred covenant- a lifelong union between two people, rooted in love, fidelity and divine grace. Marriage is a gift from God, designed for the mutual good of the spouses and the nurturing of children through procreation and education.

This holy bond echoes God's unwavering promise in the Old Testament to never abandon His chosen people and finds it's fulfillment in the New Testament through Christ's covenant with the Church- a relationship marked by sacrificial love and eternal commitment.
