The Finance Council is a vital advisory body within our parish, composed of dedicated parishioners who bring their professional expertise, stewardship values, and deep commitment to our faith community. Meeting quarterly with the Pastor, the Council plays a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the parish.

During these meetings, the Council reviews and discusses a wide range of financial matters, including:

  • Parish Income: Evaluating offertory collections, donations, fundraising efforts, and other sources of revenue.
  • Savings and Reserves: Monitoring parish savings accounts and ensuring responsible management of financial reserves.
  • Debt Management: Assessing any outstanding obligations and developing strategies for repayment and financial stability.
  • Future Expenditures: Planning for upcoming costs such as ministry support, staff compensation, and operational needs.
  • Capital Repairs and Improvements: Prioritizing maintenance and upgrades to parish buildings and facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and beauty.

The Finance Council serves as a transparent and accountable steward of parish resources, helping to align financial decisions with our mission and values. Their work ensures that our parish remains fiscally sound while continuing to grow in service, outreach, and spiritual vitality.
