The Sacrament of the Eucharist
In the Holy Eucharist, we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ- His true presence among us. Through this sacred mystery, God dwells within us, renewing our hearts through the memory of His death and resurrection. Each time we celebrate the Eucharist/Holy Communion we partake in the Last Supper, we are invited to deepen our faith, strengthen our resolve to live according to His will, and become living witnesses of His love in our community.
The Eucharist is offered at all of our Masses. For those who are homebound or in the hospital, arrangements can be made to bring Holy Communion to you- please contact the Rectory for details.
First Holy Communion
As children reach the age of reason- typically around seven years old- they begin preparation for First Holy Communion, a profound step into the heart of Christian life. The sacrament marks their initiation into the fullness of the Church's spiritual nourishment and community.
To enroll your child in preparation classes, please visit the Faith Formation section of our website or call the Rectory at 631.765.3442.
