Rite of Baptism For Infants

This is the first and fundamental sacrament.  Through Baptism we are born into a bond of unity with the Body of Christ and are welcomed into the Church. Just as Jesus chose to be baptized before beginning His public ministry, we too are called to offer ourselves to God, cleansed of sin and embraced by grace.

Baptisms can be scheduled through our Rectory Office by calling 631.765.3442.

Rite of Baptism for Adults

Adult baptism is part of a sacred journey of initiation that includes the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. This process, known as the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), unfolds over time in the company of our parish community. It is a time of spiritual growth, shared faith, and deepening commitment to the Holy Spirit. Persons discerning their call to become Catholic will join a weekly preparation class prior to the Easter Season, where they will be Baptized, Confirmed and receive Holy Communion for the first time at the Vigil Mass.

If you feel called to begin this journey, we invite you to make arrangements through our Rectory by calling 631.765.3442.
