The Ministry of Consolation provides personal contact, warmth and outreach to people when a loved one or family member has died.

Members of the ministry meet with the family to help them plan the funeral liturgy, showing them the many ways to personalize and bring meaning to the funeral Mass. 

The ministry touches people at painful moments in their lives, when they are overwhelmed with tasks and grief and presents to them a parish ministry, and Church, that is caring and concerned.
